AGAVE CUSTOM HOMES PARTNERS WITH HOUSE BEAUTIFUL ON FOURTH ANNUAL HOME
(Fredericksburg, TX) April 14, 2021 — House Beautiful magazine announced today its fourth annual Whole Home project has broken ground in a new market for 2021: Fredericksburg, TX. In this emerging design hub, a short distance outside of Austin and San Antonio, the brand will partner with Agave Custom Homes to build an unforgettable luxury home from the ground up designed by notable design talents from markets around America.
The 3,600 sq. ft. home situated on 10 acres is being built in the Hidden Springs subdivision. House Beautiful and Agave Custom Homes hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking. The home will be featured in the October/November 125th Anniversary Issue of House Beautiful and on HouseBeautiful.com, on newsstands September 28.
“Each year, we seek out an American town to build a home full of smart ideas, clever solutions, and the newest products for home from our partners,” said Carisha Swanson, Market Director, House Beautiful. “This year, each of our eight design teams will create spaces full of great takeaways that our audience can execute right now in their own homes. This will be a house that makes you rethink every nook and cranny of your own home, large or small, to make sure you’re getting the most out of it.”
Agave Custom Homes was founded in 2009 by Tyler O’Brien, with the mission to build quality homes of distinct character and design that reflect the unique surroundings of Central Texas. Every home built by Agave Custom Homes is custom designed for the land on which it is built, maximizing the value and creating a one-of-a-kind home.
“We’re ecstatic to team up with House Beautiful to build their 2021 Whole Home,” said Tyler O’Brien, Founder of Agave Custom Homes. “Design and functionality is at the heart of every custom home Agave builds and we can’t wait to show the Fredericksburg community what we have planned. We’re also eager to work with designers across the country to showcase quality craftsmanship and brilliant functionality, all while staying true to the Hill Country German architecture and design.”
Eight acclaimed interior designers including Jean Liu Design (@jeanliudesign), Studio Munroe (@studiomunroe), Toledo Geller Designs (@toledogeller), French & French Interiors (@frenchandfrenchinteriors), Laura Hodges Studio (@laurahodgesstudio), Mikel Welch (@mikelwelch), LH Designer (@lhdesigned) and Sabbe Interior Design (@sabbeinteriordesign) will each provide their design expertise to this classic farmhouse showcasing 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, open gathering areas and a large, covered veranda overlooking a sparkling pool with panoramic views of the Texas Hill Country.
